Hello Everyone,

Spring has sprung here at Gingerich Farms. The blossoms on the blueberry plants are starting to open and in about 120 days we should begin harvesting.

You know the first thing I start to think about when the weather starts getting nicer is outdoor cooking on the old bar-b-que.

I enjoy a good BBQ sauce like the next guy but sometimes I want to have something a little different. This is where the following recipe really comes in handy. It is a savory blueberry sauce that works well with chicken or any other poultry , fish or pork. People traditionally think of a blueberry as a dessert item, but it can be used in a savory application as well, especially when you get the smoky flavor of the BBQ.

So mix up a batch, It should hold for at least a week.
So fire up that BBQ and try a sauce that is different and delicious.
