Hello Everyone,

I hope that everything is good where you are at. Here in Oregon the strawberry season is just starting. Oregon was a huge producer of strawberries in the past , but the acreage is slowly shrinking. Oregon grows several varieties of strawberries that are know for their intense flavor. They do not have a long shelf life, so they generally are not distributed very widely. You will now find Oregon strawberries in products such as Haagen Daz ice cream and other high end frozen products.

Here is a great recipe for for a strawberry feta salad, The tartness of the feta plays well off the sweetness of the strawberries. If you are ever passing through Oregon in early June I suggest you try our strawberries,
